How should I protect my new foot tattoo from my shoe?
I got a tattoo on my foot last night, and I have to work today. I'm required to wear socks and shoes, but I don't want it to completely ruin it already. Any ideas how to help protect it while working for 8 hours? Should I put a paper towel over it and tape it down [like he did right after it was finished], or wrap cling wrap around it or something? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks :-]
I have to wear tennis shoes, so flip flops won't work :-[

Wrap the cling wrap around it at tape it. I had the same problem when i got mine about a week ago! It'll still be a little uncomfortable but not near as bad as if you didn't do anything.

Maybe put a film like covering over your tattoo...or just where flip flips or sandals of some sort with socks. Possibly cover it with a paper towel or some type of wrapping would be best. Maybe you could have asked him for a wrap to wear while working..he should have knew that just by giving you a foot tattoo.

Wrap it in plastic Saran wrap before putting the sock on so the ink doesn't bleed into the socks and fade the tattoo while it heals.
