"tell me something else. tell me im the best." Demetrius Andrade last night on friday night fights?

I didn't really like Demetrius Andrade's response and the fight on "Friday Night Fights" just showed me he's got some things that he needs to work on in the gym. Teddy Atlas says the same thing about all Olympians when they're coming up- always saying that they need to fight better competition but as you stated, Andrade only has 10 fights and you can't expect him to be facing top contenders in the early stages of his career- he'll fight the top contenders but only when he and his people feel he's ready; once he gets to 15-0, then we can start complaining about him not facing top opposition, but I'll give him a pass for fighting no-names at least for his next few fights, but after a while, he'll be forced to face top competition, at least if he wants to win a world title.

Andrade got the most important thing done in that fight, which was to get a victory but I certainly wasn't overly impressed with his performance- as I stated before, I'll give him a pass because prior to that fight, he was defeating all of the fighters he faced in impressive style and stopped the majority of them but he had some trouble with his last opponent, which happens from time to time. If it keeps happening, then that will become a problem because if he struggles against guys with .500 records, then it will be a concern when he faces the top contenders. But for the time being, he gets a reprieve and hopefully he'll improve on his deficiencies in the gym and have better performances in the future- Andrade certainly still has the stuff to become a world champion but just like all prospects, he needs the proper time to develop

This guy looks like a bust to me. I dont think he'll break the top 10 ranking any time soon.
