Do I have to wait a certain length of time before getting a tattoo touched up?

I got a tattoo two days ago and in one part the color isn't blended very well, it's just light purple and then BAM dark purple, and there's a little smudge where it should be a solid line [my foot wouldn't stop twitching! eh]. The guy who did it said I get free touch ups if needed for 6 weeks [or maybe months, idr]. Do I have to wait until it's healed until I can get it fixed, or can I do it now? [I don't really want to call and ask because I get all anxious and nervous calling people..] Thanks!

it must be healed first for the touch up to be done...he said 6 mths not weeks. your tat will take 2 or 3 weeks to heal, and you will not know what the tat will look like until its healed, so you should wait to freak out. so wait till its fully peeled, and healed then go back and have it touched up, they never hurt....well they do hurt really really bad, worse then the initial tattoo if they are not healed completely, its like tattooing over a cut or burn thats not healed...not very smart. youll be fine. wash ot once daily in the shower, pat dry and apply lotion-like aveeno, until its fully peeled and healed and then, and only then decided that it needs a touch up, although like i said you should get the touch up since its free for six mths anyway.

Wait on the smudged looking part it could be a bruise... I know mine did that when I got mine.

As for touch ups you're supossed to wait 6 weeks before getting it touched up.. that way everything is healed

if you go in tomorrow and they tried to touch it up you'd be screaming.
