Trying to find a dialing code range in the UK?
Hi - bit of a geeky question but having spent a couple of hours searching on Google with no luck I thought I would try here. I'm moving to a new village in the near future and whilst I know what the STD code is, I want to know what number range the village falls in within the code. Eg where I live now is 01730 2xx xxx and where I am moving to is still 01730 but I want to know what the next 2 digits are likely to be

Google the village, find businesses, pubs, churches etc. Look at their phone numbers

You could try the Phone Book Companion, which tells you the name of a town or village from the STD or Area code. You could also buy the local newspaper and look at adverts to see what other locations are under that code.
