Citalopram withdrawl side-effects?

Ah, so I uh...

Mmm~

Since about a week ago now, I ran out of pills and I couldn't reach my doctor to book an appointment until tomorrow. Had to wait over Easter because they were closed, and didn't have any appointments until Tomorrow at 8:30am.

Woo.

So, I was on 20mg citalopram but now am supposed to be going on a 3-month repeat prescription of 40mg.

These are the symptoms I've been having, getting incrementally worse;

Light-headedness

Diarrhoea

Lack of concentration

Weakness

Sleepiness

Lack of motivation

Restless sleep

Trembling (not so frequent)

Cramp (also infrequent)

That's most of them, I'm sure there are some others but... do you think it's related to the lack of citalopram or not?

I'm not sure, but I hope it is because I'll be back on it tomorrow which should hopefully alleviate these problems.

What do you think, guys?

Those are the typical withdrawal symptoms. A few hours after you start taking it again they will go away!

i was on 40mg but decided not to have it any more so stopped... after about 1-2 days i got the withdrawal effects... tingling limbs... wondered if i were having a stroke and other weird things... it lasted about 4 weeks before clearing... it wasn't nice at all.
