Smaller, but just as safe toddler seat or booster seat with 5-point harness?
I am pregnant with my 3rd child. I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee in November. I can obviously not afford a new vehicle, and still owe quite a bit of money on this Jeep. I know i can fit the 3 car seats in the back seat of the Jeep, but it is very tight and I would like for my children to be comfortable while in the car. I have a daughter who will be 3 just a few weeks before this new one is due, a son who will be 2, 4 months after this one is due and his carseat is HUGE (i can sit in it if i wanted to). So I was wondering if anyone knew where I can get or IF I can get a small, but still safe toddler carseat or booster with 5-point harness that would give me more room in the vehicle.
dont exactly understand what UCANTCME meant by his answer.?! im just asking where i can find a smaller carseat, because my sons could fit me in it, its an extremely luxurious carseat and he doesnt need anything that big.

I would not try doing this but instead there are many organizations that will help you, either by giving you a seat or by subsidizing a seat.
Call your local police station or hospital first...
If they have nothing available, contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the National SAFE KIDS Campaign or SafetyBeltSafe USA....
