Why does my computer?

Change the date and time every time I reboot? It goes back to April 2007. Everyday when I restart my computer I have to update the date and time, it drives me crazy. AND NO IT IS NOT A LAPTOP!

I think the computer constantly is loading back a pre existing data, maybe your computer has crashed or something has gone wrong in the recent days, and the only way to fix it is to go back to a point in time that the computer worked, April 2007. You should have your computer tuned up at best buy or any store that has those services.

This was already said above, but more detailed info....your CMOS battery on the motherboard is dying and needs replaced. It will look like a watch battery about the size of a quarter. Something like this:

Though you will need to find the right one for your machine.

This battery stores information such as your hardware profile and time/date/time zone information in read only memory on your motherboard while it is powered off.

Just replace the mobo battery darling. Or leave your PC plugged in all the time.
