i remember your question. adana is a nice city to live in, it's the 4th biggest city, but considered to bodrum and istanbul it's the weakest candidate. in istanbul you can find schools for foreigner kids. the ministry related american schools (in istanbul, izmir and mersin) have obligatory history and turkish literature courses. that might create a problem for the kids. so you can consider international schools in istanbul, and the american school (for foreigners) in adana, incirlik us base.
so in these schools i guess there will be no requirement of turkish in any course (other than electives)

u can find a cool place to live using this site...to be honest, if u re not afraid of living in a big city, then u shud definitely pick Istanbul...but if u dont want that, Bodrum will be a good alternative..or Izmir maybe..but dont think about Adana..and the best schools for them are in Istanbul or Izmir maybe...bodrum's population is like 50 thousand in winters while Istanbul's is like 13-14 million :) so when people are tired of the exhausting tempo of living in Istanbul, they run away to Bodrum (even my mum thinks about that)

Hi, you can get some good info on http://www.bodrumresortguide.com/ there are some estate agencies listed. Bodrum has a large English community but of course it is much smaller than Istanbul. Hope this helps.

I tink it shud b secure to holiday to turkey now nonetheless.. attempt to no longer tink bout the present bombings & jus have relaxing on the holiday. A turkish fren of mine pronounced that it is not as undesirable because it look. So wish that u & ur husband would have a impressive time in the beautiful bodrum & enticing istanbul. do no longer permit any setback get in the way.
