NBA Coach of the Year Poll?

Rank your top 5 candidates for COY. You only need to justify the guy who gets your 1st Place vote. I’ll tally all the votes (from complete ballots only) and declare the “official” Y! Basketball Section Coach of the Year after three days.

Here’s mine:

1. Scott Brooks – took over the reins of a team that relocated under shady circumstances on an interim basis last season. Honestly, the Thunder were virtually an expansion team last season, and they’re in the Playoffs! We knew they’d be better and possibly contend for a Playoff spot, but they’re status was cemented weeks ago and they look like they’ll be a tough out/possible 1st Round upset candidate.

2. Scott Skiles

3. Nate McMillan

4. Rick Adelman

5. Alvin Gentry

Update:

Results:

1. Scott Brooks 25 (5 1st Place votes)--unanimous winner!

2. Scott Skiles 15

3. Alvin Gentry 11

4. Mike Woodson 7

5. Rick Adelman 6

6. Nate McMillan 3

6. Mike Brown 3

7. Larry Brown 2

Wades an excellent baller, so i think of he would be the guy to steer them. Lebron's adventure interior the playoffs only includes quitting so luckily Wade is there to steer. And Bosh, properly the Raptors did no longer do lots so he's very constrained. Derek Fisher may be a fool to pass away the Lakers and Lequitter reported himself that Riley wasn't education. Who rather cares approximately Mike Miller.
