How to make the name Morgan more feminine?

It is one name I am considering for our baby girl.. but I know it is sometimes thought as a boy name too. How to tweak the spelling to make it more feminine?

Update:

Did you read the question? I didn't ask if you thought I should use t or if it is masculine or whatever.. I am ONLY asking for spelling ideas.. if you have none then there really is no reason to even comment.

If I was concerned it was too masculine I would post a question "is this name masculine".

Anyways, you *can* change spelling/tweak pronunciation to make names more feminine or masculine.

One example.. Isa is masculine but you add belle and it's Isabelle which is feminine.

A name ending with "a" is traditionally feminine so sometimes you can add an a to a name and make it more feminine.

And so on.

I won't use any weird spelling and from what I have thought up Morgan *is* the best spelling that's why I posted a question.. to see if others have thought of something I haven't that looks good.

It is just one name on my list. But regardless I didn't ask if I should use it or not.. I asked for spelling ideas.

Update 2:

Have any of you taken a foreign language class?

In pretty much all languages there are all kinds of rules to differentiate between masculine and feminine.

There are grammatical, historical ways to make feminine and masculine names!

One example: Senior/Senorita.. starting with "la" or "el" (spanish).

Posting this question that is what I was aiming for .. not for random misspellings (thought I do appreciate everyone's comments and ideas even if it's not necessarily what I was looking for!).

All you people telling me not to "mispell" the name are making a lot of assumptions about me and what I would consider a feminine spelling.

I personally prefer Morgan. I've met countless girl Morgans before, but only ever a few boy Morgans anyway. Besides, when you choose a unisex name for a girl, you have to face the fact that it isn't alway going to be overly feminine.

Anyways, I guess you could do Morgane or Morganne or Morghan or Morgana or Morganna or Morgin if you really wanted?

    Hope I've helped,

    Claire(:

Misspelling it does NOT make it more feminine, it just makes it misspelled and makes the name look cheap. If you like Morgan for a girl, that's fine, if you think it's too masculine then you can always opt to use something you see as more feminine but imo, misspelling it is not the way to go.

Tweaking spelling doesn't make masculine names magically feminine. An example would be Ashton, a boy's name. Some people like to spell it Ashtyn and magically pretend like it's now a feminine name but it's just a boy's name misspelled. Another example would be when people name their daughters Ayden. Horrible.

Morgan is a bit different b/c girls are names that a bit more often but it's IMO a boyish, unfeminine name and if you are going to use it, please spell it correctly. Spelling it like Morgynne would look ridiculous and just make her life complicated when she has to explain and spell it out for everyone.

I think Morgan is ok and most people would associate Cary (spelled that way and not Carry or Carrie) with Cary Grant. Ashley is a common boys name in the UK, but not really in the US and same with Lindsay. But then there is Lindsay Graham. It's stupid to say they will turn out gay though, but yeah they may get teased. My mom named me AlexandRA and I am a guy. I got teased, but kids will tease over anything anyway. I still turned out normal too. Ash is a cool guy nn for Ashley for example too. Go with what you want to go with.

Morgyn? or you can put a really girly middle name like-

    -Morgan Lila

    - Morgan Grace

    - Morgan Faith

    - Morgan Noelle

    - Morgan Hope

I would do the girly middle name instead of changing the spelling!

I know a female Morgan who spells her name Morgane, with the e on the end. That definitely makes it more feminine. You can also use Morgana.

edit: Yes, I agree with the others. Morgan is being used a lot by the girls these days, so it's fine how it is.

I think the name Morgan is feminine enough. I have a step sister named morgan when she was younger we called her Morgie for short. So i guess you could call her by a nickname like that. Personally i think its a beautiful name and feminine enough. Good Luck!! :)

You can't just change the spelling to make it feminine. It's a masculine name and a surname. Making yourself look like an imebecile with "Morr`Ghynne" doesn't change the fact that it is masculine.

    How about Margo / Margot?
