How tough is the coursework for doctorate of physical therapy?
I just got accepted to a DPT program and want to know what I should expect and what I should be reading or preparing for before I go in.
I do volunteer as a PT aide and am looking for jobs but everyone wants full time...

I'm sure it's not the easiest. I'm considering getting a DPT after I get my Bachelor's in Athletic Training.
You could probably go talk to some students in the program you're in. I'm sure they'd be more than happy to talk to you and answer any questions. Plus if you do volunteer, you could ask the Physical Therapists you worked with what they experienced.

Congratulations on your acceptance into a DPT program. It is rigorous but it can be done. Just stay up with the work. Good look

No. To be a Sport Medicine Physician you have to get an MD (4years) after which take a residency in Sport Medicine - more often than not a residency in orthopedics (five+ years). Doctorate is a Ph.D. in PT.
