1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)1 decade agoWhat is life like as a physical therapist (dpt) in the US Army?
i am on my way to getting my doctorate in physical therapy and want to know from other therapists or anyone that has worked with them how things are in the army.
i want to go active duty and i also can speak some Arabic... i would like to work on the front lines at bases but if not its okay too.
I want to do all I can to help our men and women on the battlefield.
2 AnswersMilitary1 decade agoWhich is more badass the Army National Guard or Army Reserve?
i know im splitting hairs because both are basically the same but i want to know which is better in terms of "coolness". i already know that the guard does state and federal missions and gets more benefits (in terms of money for college).
both i know are brave and tough men and women but i am curious to know which is tougher. also i am planning on being a 68W (combat medic) and want to serve in an infantry unit if possible. Which branch would most likely allow that? I heard the guard would because they are "combat" oriented but not sure. need guidance from experienced military members
25 AnswersMilitary1 decade agoUS Army National Guard or Army Reserves?
i will be completing my undergrad degree in health sciences by 2010 and i plan to pursue a doctorate degree in physical therapy. i WANT to join either the guard or reserves as a 68w (health specialist aka combat medic)
i already know the guard is controlled by the governor and the president and the reserves are controlled by the president.
i am not afraid to go to iraq or afghanistran so that isnt a issue. i am willing to do what i can to serve.
i live in maryland but go to college in washington d.c. will i still get state benefits (tuition)?
by the way, i also want to know which of the two is the best in terms of toughness (or coolness)... i know it sounds childish but im curious.
thanks in advance everyone

2 AnswersMilitary1 decade agoWhat do you think about the recent "boston security scare"?
should cartoon network be punished? the 'devices' were placed in 10 locations around the US for 2 - 3 weeks and law enforcement only found out because of people who happen to notice it!
not to put down our law enforcement agencies but how can this happen esp. on buildings and bridges? if they can do this, then it seems like idiot terrorists could do even more....

11 AnswersMilitary1 decade agoDo you think the Pakistani Government is doing enough to stop the taliban from crossing into Afghanistan?
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070116/ap_on_re_as/us...
the pakistan pres. clearly said a few months ago at the rumor of a U.S. military presence in the area, "we [pakistan] will take care of it."
yet more and more taliban fighters are streaming to the border. wth? we are bogged down in iraq and the media is not trying to sell the whole afghanistan news story now therefore not many people are aware of this.
