Do you think the Pakistani Government is doing enough to stop the taliban from crossing into Afghanistan?

unfortuantely their not even coming close. the area your reffering too is controlled primarilly by the taliban and similar religious extremeist groups. it is a rough area honeycombed with villages that are loyal to the extremeist philosophy.

Combiend with the fact that extremists have gained some seats in the pakistani govt and you ahve what amounts to a political powder keg for pervez musharaff. hes allready had a couple of atttempts on his life. and has to walk a tight rope.

He could send hundreds even thousands of troops into that area but hed face a dedicated and viscious force both in front of him and behind him as extremeists living amongst the populace took up arms.

bestw e can do in this situation is continue to support him and his government and urge him to take as much action as possible. also we can try and strengthen the border between pakistan and afghanistan.

Not at all, if Pakistan governemnt did enough, so where these terrorist came from then, at least half pakistan tretory is free zone for Taliban and Al-Qaeda.

Taliban leaders are openly executing people acausing them for cooperation with afghan governemnt.

Recently former Pakistan intelligence chief announced trough a private Pakistan TV chanall that if Taliban or Al-Qaeda invites him, he would join them, as he is one the main establisher of Taliban movement.

But that government is so fragile they might not be able to do more than it has done.

So we can choose from a bad situation or a worse one.
