what is the best mos i should take when i join the army? (medical field)?

not sure if my question makes sense. mos mean job specialty i believe... anyways i am planning on becoming a physical therapist. i want to join the us army and get some experience working as a PT and serve my country. i checked out the army site and it said that the therapists (medical specialist corps) must be liscened and have their degree.

i want to join before i go to grad school. btw im a junior in college.

Enlist as a 68W (Healthcare specialist). You need to pass this course first. This will be your MOS.

In your contract, have it state that after the 68W course, you go for the additional school for either N3 (Army's Occupational Therapy Assistant), or N9 (physical therapy technician). These are additional skill identifiers to the 68W MOS. The 68W MOS is a pre-requisite for taking either of those courses.

When completely done with training, your MOS would be 68W-N9 (Medic/ PT tech.)

Max is 100% corect. For once someone answers with a very accurate response. You will firt become a 68W, following that you will continue your Occupational which I believe for PT is another 8-10 weeks if I remember correctly. You do not need any type of degree to enlist into this MOS.

    (I am a former 91W-now 68W)

Forget about it, go to grad school. When you're a wee bit older, if you still want to, go in as an officer.
