so i have completely bombed my fist two years of college...?
i go to VCC and due to outside distractions and a million other excuses i could come up with i messed up my GPA to a unrepairable low. I would love to start fresh at another school. Would this be possible or would i have to tell them about my time at VCC and show them my failing transcripts?

Usually applications have disclaimers on them about hiding previous academic history. Better to come clean up front about the old record, and hope they forgive your youth and ignorance.
Your GPA at the new school will reflect only their classes, I think. I've attended 3 different colleges due to moves related to my full-time job, and I have a separate GPA for each institution.

Yes, you would have to show them your transcripts. Wherever you apply, you have to show them the transcripts of all colleges you have attended. Also, since your GPA is so low it will be difficult to transfer / get admitted somewhere else. Your best bet might be to just stay at VCC and pull up the GPA as much as you can and then transfer into you 4 year college. As long as there is an upward trend in your grades you will be better off and try to maintain at least a 3.0 gpa. Also, if your GPA is high in your major that also helps. Just use the past as a learning experience and move forward. Best of luck.

dont worry, most graduate programs, even law schools, just look at ur last 2 years (or ur 2 best years)
first 2 years are not that important at university
