Comrades who is excited about the Added Value Tax?

Yes now comes the VAT tax an acronym for Value added tax. I am going to do a webpage on this. I have heard about this ever since the bank’s collapsed. Here`s how it works. They will add at least 15% to everything that we buy before we buy it. We won’t see it like the sales tax. This is a tax that will be put on the product that the retailer will collect and send to the IRS. This turns Wal-Mart and every other Retail store into a branch office of the IRS. We pay the new tax but we won’t notice it like a sales tax. This is extremely inflationary. It takes away from the amount of product we can buy. The retail industry is $700 Billion a year if they put a 15% taxes on all products that will be $105 Billion in new taxes. Now this tax could be as high as 24% as they try to copy the European style socialist economic system, were the total tax is 70% of there incomes.

What the clowns in Washington don’t seem to realize, is the amount of products we can purchase is reduced by that amount of the tax or $105 Billion. We will be buying less in volume as we are paying more for the products. This leads to a lower number of jobs needed to produce the lower volume of products. This leads to more unemployment. They don’t ever seem to be able to connect the dots when it comes to how the economy works. All they are doing is taking money from the productive parts of the economy and shifting it into the black whole of federal budget deficit. 1.6 trillion For 2010, $105 Billion in new taxes isn’t going to fix the problem.

The answer is for the government to cut spending to reduce the deficit, not to increase the tax burden on the working class Americans to cover their drunken sailor spending. All these new taxes and hidden taxes on the American people is all way past insane. We still have the huge taxes of cap and trade. That is a direct and immediate tax on gasoline and electricity. We already have the cost of healthcare. It looks like there trying to purposely collapse the economy and the country.

The vat tax is a democrat idea NOT a republican idea.

The fair tax is a republican Idea and that’s not the VAT tax.

Obama needs to spend more time building an income base that is worthy of taxing at any rate. What value will be added if people can't afford to purchase anything?

The proposed VAT will destroy our economic system, everything food your utility bills, every thing will cost 15-25% more but your pay check won't increase, it will really effect the poor. We are over taxed as it is enough is enough I say

Both producers and consumers will suffer from a value added tax, only ones that benefit is government and its dependents.
