Who's your Rookie of the Year?

We all know it's a 3-horse race, and I don't think you could be upset if any of the three won the thing, but give me your ranking of the three candidates and a reason for your #1.

Here's mine:

1. Tyreke Evans - 20-5-5 as a rookie is just too special. He loses his edge a little because the Kings fell so far from Playoff contention starting around January (around the time they brought back Martin to shop him), but how many veterans are averaging 20-5-5 right now? The ONLY other guys I'm sure have it besides Evans are Kobe and LeBron. Look it up. Wade, Roy, and Joe Johnson all come up a little short. What the kid is doing as a rookie is phenomenal.

2. Brandon Jennings - lifting a team from the Lotto to the Playoffs is really significant.

3. Steph Curry - his play has improved the most over the course of the season.

This one's a tough call. Cast your votes. I'll post the winner in a few days. To vote for COY, http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aojp_...

Update:

Could you guys give your second and third place votes to complete your ballots? Also, how would you guys feel about the first ever 3-man Co-ROY?

Update 2:

klebron23,

I'm talking about guys who are doing it THIS season.

Update 3:

Results:

1. Tyreke Evan 11 pts (3 1st Place votes)

2. Brandon Jennings 7 (0)

3. Stephen Curry 6 (1)

1.Tyreke Evans, thoughs numbers are awesome and he has been the most consistent, Curry was a late bloomer, and Brandon Jennings is just mostly hype after that 55 point game.

    2.Stephen Curry

    3.Brandon Jennings

    4.Deron Colison

LOL!!! 3-Man Co-ROY THAT'S CRAZY!!!! LOL!!! That would be AWESOME!!

Tyreke Evans is a great rookie. He's been great ALL SEASON LONG. Brandon Jennings was doing amazing during the beginning of the season. Stephen Curry will not be heard from to much. (Other than yesterday when Don Nelson and the Warriors got a win and Don Nelson got the most wins ever.)

So, I'd go with Tyreke Evans

To the guy before me he means that has those stats right now

The only other ROOKIES to make 20 - 5 - 5 are Oscar Robertson, Michael Jordan and Lebron James, pretty exclusive group right

Tyreke has it in the bag

Jennings is my fav outa them

and Curry is just a beast, was 2 boards and 3 steals off a quad double today !!!

It's close, but gotta go with Tyreke Evans. Evans has been consistent throughout the entire season, but both Curry & Evans will have great careers.

I'm going to use your list, but put Stephen Curry as 1, and then Tyreke for two, Brandon for third.

20-5-5 is amazing so I'll go with Evans.

And, you're wrong about Kobe. He only had 8-1-1 in his rookie year. Hard to believe? But, it's true.

You're right about LeBron though. He was also 20-5-5.

Evans. But at the same time, we cant compare his numbers to other stars like kobe who spent much of his rookie year on the bench. If you started these guys back then theres no telling what they could have accomplished. By the way, who else on that Kings roster do you expect to share numbers, i mean SOMEBODY has to get the stats.

    1. Evans

    2. Curry

    3. Jennings

My Vote goes for Jennings cause his team is in the 5th seed in the East. I LOVE Evans game tho but ROTY is kind of like the MVP, if your team sucks you wont win>DWADE<Last years REAL MVP
