Help with prom questions?? Nervous and lost?!?

So I'm going to prom (and probably afterprom?) with my boyfriend who's a junior. I'm a sophomore. The afterprom is hosted by my school, which is relatively small, and I don't really know what goes on. What should I take to change into? What do I do with those clothes during the dance? Just leave them in the car??

Also did you/are you going to prom in a limo? Did you go to your afterprom? What time did you arrive to your prom/afterprom?

As you can tell, I'm slightly clueless on what's expected. So anything you want to share is great :D

    I've got 3 kids that went to prom and they wore the same clothes to after prom. All 3 had a limo and split the cost with their friends so it was just a giant party on wheels, they all had a blast. They got to the prom about 5 minutes after it started, fashionably late. Have a great time, since you're a sophomore you'll have 2 more chances after this so make the most out of this time in your life and stay safe and away from alcohol and drugs...

    just take normal clothes like jeans and a shirt to change into and leave the dress and stuff in the car.. i'm just going just going with my friends and not taking a limo.. my friends and i are having our own after prom party.. the school ones are boring and i wouldn't advise going.. just get there the time prom starts i guess
