I'll be a college freshman in the fall, and my parents will buy me one to two of the above items. I don't know which to choose or which will be most useful!

-I don't think that I really need a tablet... but it could function as an e-reader with internet; but it's not helpful for writing a paper

-With a laptop I'll be able to type papers and do more research than I could with a tablet

-e-reader's are great; I really want a kindle. I know that some textbooks are available on Kindles, but not all are. I don't know if the textbooks are more or less expensive on kindles. I do love to read regular books on the kindles though

-smartphones are soo expensive--well the plans are. I know I would feel guilty that my parents would be paying the monthly bill and wouldn't let me pay for it. But the phones are also so convenient!

I need some places/groups/examples of religious conflict. I know Israel and the Muslim vs. Jews conflict, what are some more?

What are some areas that are involved in religious conflicts today?

Ex: Israel: who's fighting/why/what's going on?

So over the winter I lost about 8 pounds, and was doing good at keeping them off.. Then I went away for 2 weeks, didn't exercise or eat right and gained a lot of it back. Since gaining it back I lost about 4, but kind of plateaud there. And I've been running for cross country for the past few weeks, and very intensely for the past week and a half, so I feel like I should've lost more. Is it possible of conceivable that I couldve gained muscle in that short of time?

A few weeks ago I broke up with my first boyfriend of 5 months because we could never see each other,except in school. We never said I love you to each other. We could never hang out. And we didn't really have much in common I don't think. When I broke up with him I felt kind of liberated, or something, but now I really miss him. I think about him a lot, and I feel like.... Kind of like I love(d?) him. I mean we spent 5 months together, and then he's gone. Now there's also another problem. I met a guy who really really likes me. We've been texting for awhile and have plans to go to the fair next week. I know now what people mean by the "rebound", and leading people on. The thing is, I don't know how to tell this guy i don't feel the same way, especially since I HAVE been leading him on I just didn't really realize it till now. I want my ex back, and i don't want to hurt this new guy cause he's really nice and doesn't deserve this. What do I do?

Mkay, I've been going out with my boyfriend for almost 5 months, so I'm pretty sure he likes me (lol), but I am an extremely awkward person. I want to have a relationship with him where I can just talk and talk, but I feel like that's not going to happen. I know I make it awkward and don't talk much but I can't figure out why we're still together. Obviously I like him still but I just don't know if he's going out with me just to have a girlfriend. He can hardly ever hang out with me but when we do it's fun- as in I'm still awkward but not when we're like kissing. I don't know..... what do you guys think?

I've been going out with my boyfriend for a little over 4 months and I really like him. (I know I'm not in love as im only 16) but some of my friends are telling me I can do better. See, I know that's true but I honestly do like him. I dont want to let what others think influence my opinion, but I've been in the other side before where Iknew someone was better than the other and i thought they should break up. My friends really don't like my boyfriend, but should I listen to their opinions or listen to my heart?

Now that I realize that I'm asking if i should listen to my heart or not I feel kind of stupid but I really would like some honest opinions.

I'm going with my boyfriend who's a junior to prom (I'm a sophomore) on Saturday. I feel like he might tell me he loves me, but we're just in high school so I don't think it's real. At least, I know I'm not in love now, I just really like him. But if he says he loves me, what do I say back? I don't want to say I love you too, b/c I don't want to say it unless I mean it. So yeah, what should I say if this happens??

Also, I'm pretty self concious and I don't like PDA too much, so this means I'm not comfortable dancing in front of people and I won't want to kiss him or touch a lot at prom..... I'm going to do my best to dance a little and try not to care what people think, cause I know they don't really care lol.

So I'm going to prom (and probably afterprom?) with my boyfriend who's a junior. I'm a sophomore. The afterprom is hosted by my school, which is relatively small, and I don't really know what goes on. What should I take to change into? What do I do with those clothes during the dance? Just leave them in the car??

Also did you/are you going to prom in a limo? Did you go to your afterprom? What time did you arrive to your prom/afterprom?

Stupid question, I know. But my boyfriend let me wear his hoodie home so now I have it. Do I take it back to school to him tomorrow? Or keep it ;) He wears it basically every day, but he does have another one. So should I keep it or take it back to him?

So we've been going out for like a month and a half, but have only hung out twice. (Superbowl and Valentines Day-my first kiss was then, too). So this weekend we'll probably do something, but I have no idea what. He'll probably ask me what I want to do but I have absolutely NO ideas. It's too cold here to do anything outside plus there is still a lot of snow on the ground.

I'm also a really quiet person, even though he is not. Sometimes I can be pretty awkward and get ebarrassed kind of easily :( So ideas where we don't have to talk a lot (not a movie-already did that). Something fun, and that I won't feel awkward suggesting :)

He will have asked me out a month ago (the 6th) but we've never hung out.... one of us has plans, we're snowed in (he lives kinda far away), his mom won't let him. IDK, it's just never worked out. We hold hands and hug at school, and we text a lot. It's supposed to snow/ice a lot this weekend so plans probably won't work, meaning another week that we don't hang out. Anyways, at lunch today my friends were asking me when it will be a month so I told them, and one girl was like "What if he doesn't remember?" I hadn't really thought about it. I don't really care, since it's high school, and it will just be one month. Should I care? If he doesn't bring it up, should I? What should I say? Also, opinions on Valentines Day. Do I get him something?

I don't know if I believe in love. I know I'm only 15, and have no reason to fall in love so young, but I'm kind of sceptic about it. How can you completely trust someone? It just doesn't make sense to me.

I have a project for graphic arts and we are supposed to create an album cover/back for a genre of music. My genre is electronic, and I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. We're using photoshop, and I have to make up a band name and songs. And the album cover I need some ideas for too. Like what should I make/create?

It was more of a nightmare actually.....

First thing I remember is that I was in a graveyard, I think it was one I've been to before but I don't remember where. I was lying down in all the plots without gravestones to see if there was a body already there- it was an old graveyard and a lot of markers were missing. If there was a body there, then it would scream and jump up, but go back down when I moved. There weren't any empty spots, so I went inside the church. There was a group of people there who were really creepy. They saw me and I started running. One of the people chasing me was my best friend, but she wasn't my friend in the dream. I ran into a room and shut the door. It was an old fashioned bedroom with a bed and windows with billowing curtains. My friend forced my way into my room and said that she had to gouge my eyes out. We fought and I wrestled the scissors from her. Then I stuck the scissors in her eye and she just stood there, not bleeding or struggling. I got the entire eye out and it fell on the floor. She picked it up and said she had to put it in her nose....

Then I forced myself to wake up because I couldn't do that to my best friend. At the end it was like I knew I was dreaming so I told myself to wake up.
