Cannon Fs200 file program editor?
I received a cannon fs200 for my birthday last month. Little did I know that this camera only records MOI files, which are unreadable to windows media player and windows movie maker. I bought adobe premiere pro CS4 because it promised that the program could read the MOI files. That promise was a lie, it doesn't upload my videos to be edited or anything. I have a windows XP computer and need help as to a good editing software (something similar to windows movie maker would be ideal, but I'll take what I can get). Also, if there is a good file converter that is guaranteed to change these files to Mpg's or something that IS compatible for windows movie maker, I would like that also.
If you have stories or solutions of problems with your cannon fs200, I would greatly appreciate them. Thank you :)

I have the FS100 and do not have any problems using pinnacle studio 11 ultimate. I use a card reader, copy/paste from the card to my video folder and then import into pinnacle. I do not convert the files, and I have downloaded the codecs package. I do not use windows movie maker. I have found, if you save your videos to a file on your desktop, they are much easier to find and import into your editing program. If you need to use Windows Movie Maker, you will have to convert the video clips. What a pain.
These are free.
VLC media player, plays those file types. http://vlc-media-player.us/ Try ffdshow also for video conversion. http://www.free-codecs.com/download/FFDshow.htm
