Wow, people are still believing this stuff? Probably from the same book that says you don't have to pay taxes, you can homestead on park land, and you are entitled to print your own currency.
You have no right to drive a car. Motor vehicle laws are assigned to the states, and you must follow their procedures for obtaining the PRIVILEGE to operate a motor vehicle.
It's your choice whether you follow the law or choose to be a criminal, but I can assure you that your constitutional defense is unfounded either in the Constitution itself, by statute or code or precedent.
We the People of the United States demand that you drive in a lawful and financially responsible manner, otherwise buy a bus pass.

You *DO* have an absolute right to travel anywhere in the United States. You can go by bus, train, plane, canoe, or foot.
Now, you won't get on any common carrier without a photo ID that they will accept, and you cannot legally operate a motor vehicle without a license. So looks like canoe and good old shoe leather are your two options.
Your individual right to travel does not outweigh the government's power to require you to be licensed to operate a vehicle, nor does it outweigh a carrier's ability to refuse you service for showing an ID issued by the 51st Right Wing Nut Job Corps.

I'm not the one who doesn't know what he's talking about. Those websites are inaccurate to say the least. It is a long held legal tradition in this country that while you have an absolute right to travel, you do NOT have the right to operate a motor vehicle on public roads without complying with applicable law.
Read the Constitution, it says nothing about "traveling by right". This is one of those ultra-right wing survivalist bits of nonsense, like admiralty flags and straw man accounts.

I would LOVE to see in the Constitution where you have a right to travel. If you want to travel travel, you just can't drive or get on a plane.

Having a Drivers License has NEVER interfered with your right to travel. If you don't want a license simply don't renew it and bada bing it's gone. And BTW I certainly do know what I'm talking about.
