Is the WBC really following the Devil?

Fundamentalism, be it regular or uber crazy cult style, has its dangers. I wouldn't say they're following the devil per say, but they're certainly not following Christ.

To take the love from Christ is to take away Christ.

I do not doubt the existence of such trolls, but from everything I've heard, WBC is a hoax. It was created by people sick of fundamentalists Christians ragging on anyone who is different from them...so they created a website to mock fundamentalist Christians (so none of the events mentioned on the web-page actually happened). I'm still not 100% sure that this organization is fake, so if you've witnessed any actual WBC events, please add details. I keep seeing people post questions about WBC, but I don't want to misinform. If they are real, I think they need to ponder God a bit longer, at least until they realize all of their bigotry is man-made. Stinkin' people and their institutionalized hidden agendas X(

No. WBC is nasty, but at least they're honest. They don't claim they "love" you while they call you names and push to eradicate your rights. They come right out and tell you how much they and their god hate you. And really, as far as radical RW Christians go, they're relatively harmless. They go around waving signs and making fools of themselves. They rant about how much their god hates everyone under the sun. But they don't take active steps to eradicate anybody's rights or turn the US into a theocracy unlike other groups (AFA, FOTF, NOM, Catholic League, etc.).

Ultimately they may not truly believe what they're preaching but are just doing all of this for attention. After all, when they didn't get enough media time for "merely" protesting gay funerals they went to the military funerals and other stuff. They love the spotlight, and will do anything to get on TV. I wouldn't be surprised if somewhere down the line they came right out and admitted they were punking us all.

Actually, as evil as the WBC is, they are very anti-racist.

The WBC is not actually Satanic. It's the most brilliant, epic trolling organization there is in the world, trolling almost absolutely everybody for any given reason--and people think they are being serious.

Funny thing is most of what they do is completely in line with what the Bible says. It's moderate Christians that have more "evolved away" from that type of hatred incited in the name of God. So, no, they're still following your god... just from a different perspective than most 21st century Xians.

Well i'm a christian. God and the devil are two entirely different things. God=Good, loving, caring, compassionate, everything that is good.

Devil= hatred, jealousy, everything that is bad.
