Any opinions/impressions of London Baglioni Hotel?
We are planning to spend our honeymoon in London at the Baglioni Hotel. This is supposed to be an Italian luxury hotel operator. Has anyone here stayed at their London Baglioni Hotel and if so, what is your opinion of it? We are looking to splurge and want things perfect for our 5 day stay in London.

No doubt the London Baglioni is a hotel we would not hesitate to recommend. The service is discrete, down stated and classy- which we very much like- yet all needs are attended within minutes they are formulated. The personnel is courteous and genuinely preoccupied by the customers well being. We found that all members of the personnel were always smiling (may it be at the front door, the front desk or the house keeping). The concierge that greeted us was jovial and friendly and the hotel manager was absolutely charming.
Lobby: all the materials used are of a fine quality, the chairs are very comfortable and the choice of colors very classic and tasteful. We feel the Italian chic.
The first room we were in was very romantic and spacey. We came in with many suitcases and had plenty of space to "hide" all of our belongings. We felt we were in a small romantic apartment. The bathroom is practical, spacey and the bath is truly perfect for bath lovers (much better than we usually find)-my wife appreciated that feature very much.
The second room was spacious (high ceiling) and the view makes it even more grandiose.
As to the decor, we found the rooms to be classic and not overstated. The rich colors of the quality fabrics mixed to the dark wood floors become a peaceful little hideaway after touring the big city all day. We found that the rooms were very silent and isolated from noise.
We did not ate at Brunello so can't comment on it.
Finally, the fact that the hotel is in front of Hyde Park, minutes away from the metro station and in a nice residential area makes its location enviable.
