Are mashed potato flakes bad for a dog?
Our cats were kind enough to open the pantry and they dragged out a bag of plain mashed potato flakes and helped themselves. I was unaware and while I was making lunch, Pixie found them and had herself a snack. Is this anything I need to worry about? I'm pretty sure it's not, but I was just wondering. Thank you!!!!!!
Pixie is extremely healthy and only had about a tablespoon worth of flakes before I realized she was eating something.
I just checked on her and she's sleeping, but has mashed potatoes in her nose lol Going to clean that out right now.

I wouldt worry too much about it if I ever make mash out of flakes I always give them some so if their ok eating it when its mash then I can't see it being a problem when its flakes. Dogs are really volatile and if it didn't agree with her she would puke it back up xx

I don't think so. They should be fine, if maybe a little heavy in the gut. Since many grain free foods have potato in them, I imagine your cats will be OK.

Well it really depends. Does Pixie have Cancer or a cold. Any disease. If she does
Pixie might start vommiting. But if she doesn't it's going to be fine and alright.
