Hello theyoungimmortal,
By reading Holy Scriptures, we find nowhere that the soul is immortal.
On the contrary. Indeed in Ezechiel in the chapter 18:4, we read: "Look! All the souls—to me they belong. As the soul of the father so likewise the soul of the son—to me they belong. The soul that is sinning—it itself will die."
An in Ecclesiastes 9:5
For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun.

A soul, in the Hebrew lnguage, is a "breather".
And that would also include animals as souls or "breathers".
There is no place in the Bible that indicates that man or animals are or have an immortal part of them.
When the breather stops breathing, or the soul stops breathing, death occurs. The soul dies. And the Bible plainly supports that in Ezekiel 18:4 where it states that "The soul that is sinning, - it itself will die."
We are gifted with life, and that life was to be continued by obedience to God. Man's disobedience has brought death to himself.
A desire to again serve God in obedience among some of mankind has opened up for them an opportunity to have endless life, and so we see Jesus speaking about this in John 5:28 and 29 - that this will be by means of a resurrection - but nothing about an immortal soul.
Our desire for continued life and a good relationship with God is not tied to having an immortal soul, but is tied with the proper recognition and knowledge of God's arrangement for life, through his Son, Jesus.

It does not.
The eternal immortal soul is a man made doctrine
Gen 2:7 KJV
7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Note it says man become a living soul not that he has a soul.

The Bible does not say we HAVE a soul it says we ARE a soul.
Genesis 2:7
7"And Jehovah God proceeded to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man came to be a living soul."
It also says that the soul can die.
Ezekiel 18:4
"Look! All the souls—to me they belong. As the soul of the father so likewise the soul of the son—to me they belong. The soul that is sinning—it itself will die"
When we use the expression S.O.S. (Save Our Souls) we do not mean some invisible ethereal part of us, we mean our lives.
The Bible also says that animals are souls.
Gen. 1:20, 21, 24, 25: “God went on to say: ‘Let the waters swarm forth a swarm of living souls* . . . ’ And God proceeded to create the great sea monsters and every living soul that moves about, which the waters swarmed forth according to their kinds, and every winged flying creature according to its kind. . . . And God went on to say: ‘Let the earth put forth living souls according to their kinds . . . ’ And God proceeded to make the wild beast of the earth according to its kind and the domestic animal according to its kind and every moving animal of the ground according to its kind.”
The idea that we have an immortal soul is not a Biblical teaching but stems from ancient, pagan beliefs.

Man does have a eternal soul. When God created Adam, Adam was lifeless. He was not alive until
God breathed the Breath of Life into Him making Adam a Living soul. And when we physically die
That gift returns to where it came from, to God. IF you receive Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior
He promises to return that gift of life back to you when He returns. We all die a physical death,
those who have not receive Christ will die " A Second Death " Death of the Soul. This can be found
in Revelations .

It doesn't. It says, "a soul that sins shall die." Ezekiel 18:4, 18:20.

(GOD) "Who only hath immortality" (1 Tim.6:16)
"Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel" (2Tim:1:10)
No immortality outside obedience to the gospel.

Really, it was not suppose to be like that and all we should blame on Adam and Eve to cause us imperfection.

When Jesus Christ threatened us with eternal torture if we don't telepathically accept him as our master.
Before Jesus came along, the bible never spoke of neverending choking, suffering, and agony
