If a person passes on to another life after death what is the resurrection?

this is a good question, because why would we need a Resurrection if we are not really dying? basically the answer is this: the bible teaches that when we die, we cease to exist, we are conscience of nothing (ecc.9:5) that why jesus likened it to sleep. we are not aware of anything. this is why he taught that the hope for the dead is by means of a Resurrection. no where in the bible does it teach we have a soul that lives on (otherwise why would jesus teach the Resurrection?) when God finally brings an end to the world domination by man, and rids it of evildoers, and remakes the earth into the Paradise it was intended to be, then all those who have died will be rresurrectedto an oopportunityto live again (john 5:28) under Gods rule, they will be judged not by their past, but what they do going forward.

the resurrection, they are reborn in a new body, they keep coming back until they get it right. It is like passing from six to seventh grade. you don't pass until you learn what you have to learn.
