How to print from my friends printer?
Hello!
I want to print a document from my pc to my friends printer. We have different IP and we cant use cable or wireless. I want to know how I must setup his printer. I think it has to do with printer sharing..
I know that is easiest to sent an email but I want sent it directly to his printer.

Assuming his printer doesn't have a network card..
You would need to load the printer drivers on your PC and also have the router and firewall at his house opened up to allow network sharing from your PC.
He would then need to authorise you to connect to his network and use his workgroup and have printer sharing set up on his PC.
With his computer turned on you could then print via his print queue to the printer.
It's be a fair bit of hassle to complete it all.
If it has a network card you would need to open up the router Firewall to your PC and then add a port forwarding direct to his printer for the printing protocol in use. you could then set up a network printer at your end using his public IP address.

can you access to your friend's printer from your computer. if you can't access it then problem in your network. if you can access printer problem is in printer settings. if you can't access to printer there may be problem in computer virus also. there are some network viruses those virus block printerspooler option then we can't use network print.
