Can I change my windows 7 installation to another hard drive?

I think my current hard drive is faulty and I'd like to copy this new windows 7 installation to another harddrive? Is this possible? Would I also need to copy the boot directory?

you would need to copy everything. It is possible but you need another computer to do it. another thing is do you have the disk to install windows 7 because you could just reinstall windows 7 on another hard drive without the need to copy everything.

you could constantly attempt setting up the no longer basic force and notice what occurs. particularly circumstances Win7 basically is going and deploy the recent drivers for the recent device, yet whilst it particularly is basically too plenty distinctive (it particularly is in all probability the case here) this is going to easily sit down there. you will get a restore option, yet I doubt it. maximum in all probability you will ought to start sparkling and reinstall Win 7.
