My 2 oldest children are 16 months apart. The only con was that I wish I had more time with each one separately. They grow up so fast. The pros are they are great friends now and have been forever. They are really close and have always been there for each other. It was great having them close because they were always into the same toys, games, movies because they were basically the same age. I have 5 kids and the first 2 were 16 mos apart then almost 2 years and another set of kids that were also 16 mos apart. Same thing good friends always there..... Last one was my surprise baby she was 4 years later....
In my opinion the pros out number the cons even if you add the lack of sleep, the tons of laundry and toys everywhere!

I have 18 month old twin girls and due to give birth to a little boy in 11 days!
The only 'con' I can think of is the hard work of having 3 children under the age of 2, but once we've all settled into a routine and such, I'm pretty confident that it'll get easier.
As for the pro's, they're probably endless, and at least they are all close in age. Me and my partner wanted close age gaps, just so we could be done. I don't think I could wait till one child is in school and then have to start all over again! The thought is unbearable!

My children are sixteen month apart and although it was difficult at first the pros's really out Weight the cons, my children are the best of friends and family days out are great because they have the same or similar interests.
