    It all depends on what state you live in. You would have to take the class, which is Arkansas is a week long 40 hr course, then you have to take the state board insurance test for Property and Casualty, I don't believe you can JUST get an auto insurance license. Its' a lot of money and time and studying and if you fail- like most do the 1st time you have to pay to take it again. I got my Property and casualty insurance license though the company I work for, and they picked up the fees, hotels cost, and time off of work. Its a long drawn out process which most likely being 6 to 8 months before you get your license. Good luck its tough, but not unattainable. Google the Insurance dept of the state you live in and you can call them and they can instruct you.
