    2x - y = 3

    x / ( 3 / 2 ) + y / ( - 3 ) = 1

    it crosses the x - axis at (3 / 2, 0 )

    At 3/2.

    You want where y=0, so set the equation equal to 0

    0 = 2x -3

    Solve for x

    3 = 2x

    3/2 = x

    (The person above me found where it crosses the y-axis instead of the x-axis)
