Do you believe Jesus is Lord?

Tell me what miracles or testimonies you may have to affirm that Jesus is God's Son. I don't mean direct Scripture as I am quite familiar with them . I mean how "you" personally know that Jesus is Lord/God's Son in human life. What has He done for you? I will share my testimony after reading yours and picking my best answer. However I'm quite sure they'll all be great!

Update:

Omg. I am so far completely discouraged by the first 12 answers. Let me explain one of my many miracle from him. At the age of 23 I had a rare medical happening. My uterus dropped Causing me much pain and discomfort. It was all of a sudden. I prayed to Jesus as I laid on my couch in such discomfort . I had to go for surgery as this is the only known medical way to fix such a thing. I laid on my couch and said, Dear Lord, If you were here I would touch your cloak as the woman in scriptures that bled for 12 yrs did. I know you can heal me. I have no doubt. Please Jesus Heal me. At that very moment, I heard the words, Your faith has made you well echo within me. Suddenly my legs went completely numb. I knew I was healed. The next day I went in 4 my surgery and the doc gave me an exam. He was quite confused as my uterus was no longer there to visible eye. He called his supervisor to reconfirm. They claim it was medically impossible. when asked how it happened, i simply said... God!

    YES! :))))

I took my kids to church because I didn't want them to have the same struggles with faith that I grew up with (if you want them to have a choice in religion, you have to give them something to choose FROM, right?).

So, I'm sitting in church one day, when all of a sudden it hits me: The Big Bang had to be started by SOMETHING, didn't it? The universe couldn't have just popped itself into existence!!! How do scientists rationalize this? (I guess the same way I did for all those years: by ignoring reality.)

And that was the beginning. I'm so grateful that my Lord gave me a brain, and lets me use it!

Ok, I have been a Christian all my life, I have seen God move in my life. I have never gone far off the path, like getting into drinking and drugs etc. so when I have been asked questions like this its hard for me to think of something that is really testimonial, except now. Over the past 2 years I have studied prophecy, and man has God opened my eyes to things. The things that God has shown me can be depressing, but through it all, I have gained more trust in God and have depended on Him more then I have my whole life. I have made it to where He is more in my life and every decision I make, I talk to God about. I can't explain how awesome it is. To answer your question, I do believe that Jesus is Lord, my Lord and Savior. I have always believed that Jesus is Lord my whole life, never questioned/doubted it. He has always shown Himself to me, but over the last two year, I have seen Him more then I have and He has just proven Himself more and more to me with the things He has shown me. Taking what God has shown me and relating it to the Bible just proves that my Lord and Savior is real.

I don't know whether I really believe it. Aboslute belief may be one of those things outside human reach. I know that I would like to believe it, but I am too much like the apostles -- I need to see. To me, the written scripture is not sufficient proof; it is no better than any other eyewitness testimony, such as your own. If someone were to tell us of a similar miracle of healing, but say that it was done by Apollo, how would you respond?

But if there truly was a Jesus who truly did the things ascribed to him, I accept him willingly as Lord. The Jesus presented to us by scripture has my allegiance and my service and I do try to follow his example and commandments. That's the best I can do. If he is a made-up ideal, he is at least a worthy one, far better than the primitive and arbitrary God of the Torah. But when I pray, I find myself seeking the Holy Spirit for guidance, or to offer thanks, or to ask blessing. This probably means I haven't the capacity to perceive God as human; I see God as pure spirit ... as indeed Jesus says he is, according to the gospel of John ... in any case, my faith is more in what Jesus stands for than what Jesus actually is. I am not speaking only of his teachings.

Miracles? I have experienced one or two, I think. But as I outlined above, it was not Jesus to whom I prayed for them. I wonder: does that mean you would not accept them as miracles?

definite, i think in Jesus as Lord, and that i even have faith in one God. in accordance to the Holy Trinity, God is is one individual in 3 entities: the daddy, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God is all of those. Jesus is the Son of the daddy. Jesus became into despatched to Earth by the daddy. The Holy Spirit keeps to be right here. Jesus is a factor of God, Jesus and God are actually not 2 separate Lords, they are an identical Lord.

There is not one single mention of Jesus in the entire Roman record - that is right - not one!!! At the same time as he was supposed to have been around there were a number of Jews claiming to be the messiah - all of whom are well recorded!!

There is not a single contemporary record from any source and even the bible mentions of him like all other references were not written until many years after his supposed death!!

He was supposed to have been a huge problem to the Romans and produced wonderful miracles but still not one contemporary record?

Even the bible mentions of him like all other references were not written until many years after his supposed death!!

Pilate is recorded in the Roman record as a somewhat lack luster man but no mention of a Jesus, a trial or crucifixion that would surely have been used to make him look brighter!!

At best he was an amalgam of those others!!

Jesus is my Lord and my God. The miracle I witness every Sunday at the Catholic Liturgy is enough for me to believe. Even so, the history of the Catholic Church is also a miracle. The fact that it has survived over 2000 years of constant persecution, from both in and outside the church. The fact that no one has succeeded in destroying the Church is a miracle on earth.

No. I have seen on the Discovery channel that Jesus didn't even exist. He never showed up in the Bible for about 400 years. Now which of us is gonna remember something THAT long? And a lot of stories change over the generations.

Jesus is God's son but so are all of us. He made us in his image at the beginning of creation. When did Jesus know he was the messiah? When he fell in Eden. We are talking a spiritual fall into mankind not a literal Adam and Eve. Jesus was the first of God's creation to make his way back to the source, father God. Since then many of our brothers and sisters have found there way back. So do not add to Jesus's cross by assuming that through him you will make it back to father God. Take up your own cross and find your own path back to God. Jesus came to SHOW you the way but instead people just throw their burdens upon him. You have to find your own way back.

Does Lord mean God or God's son? I always thought Lord was the word for God. If Jesus is Lord/God it's kind of confusing b/c that would mean Jesus prayed to himself, and asked why he had forsaken himself.
