    the formula for finding the area of a triangle is A=1/2 bxh so since you have the height and area already then the answer is 8.

    Well, area of a triangle = 1/2 (heigth times base). So you just have to plug the #'s into that equation:

    100 = 1/2 (25 x base) since multiplying by 1/2 is the same as dividing by 2, you want to do the opposite of that, which is multiplying by 2:

    200= 25xbase Now, divide both sides by 25:

    8=base

    base=8

    (area x2)/height

    200/25 = 8

    A = 0.5BH

    100 = 0.5B25

    100 = 12.5B

    8=B
