He stopped talking to me out of the blue?

Out of all my guy friends, i'm closest to one. we text everyday, talk everyday, etc.

last week, i told him something really personal about myself (nothing gross or sexual), and he said that it upset him because it upset me...if that makes sense.

and, as of today, he hasn't talked to me for the past four days. i'm not sure if i should say something to him. he avoids me at school, so i tried texting him and he said that he "has been busy." I asked him what he'd been busy doing, i didn't get a reply, and i haven't heard from him since.

what do you think is going on? (We've dated before, like two years ago, if this is of any importance.)

Update:

I just texted him, "are you upset about something?" (going off the first answerer) and his reply was, "idk...?"

he's so confusing.

    You could take this two ways: one way is to believe him when he says hes been busy and see if his behavior goes back to normal. Or you could take it as something is bothering him and see if you can talk to him about it. Since you guys are usually close and text/talk a lot I would go with option two. Maybe give him a call soon and just ask him how everything is, and then just calmly bring up how he has been acting and ask if everything is okay. Hopefully he will open up and explain what is going on in his head. Good luck...hope everything works out.

    If the two shirts are "effective", as you're saying ... then why the "silent" therapy ? This sounds like one enormous non-journey. could all of us be attentive to the genuine rationalization for this ostracizing habit ?

    Just give it some time ( About a week ) & things will pan out.

    Leave him alone ( Don't ignore ) and he will come to you with it if it's important enough to re hash.

    Definitely not busy..just doesn't feel like talking to you right now..he is upset about whatever you told him.
