How does MSN work.......?
I just got MSN cause it seems like a lot of people use it. Up until now, I've had AIM and it seems a lot different from that so I need some info.
First of all, someone asked for my MSN. what does that mean? do I give them a link to my profile, do I give them my email? Idk how that works. Do you have a screen name?
Please help! I just need the basics. Thank you.

MSN Messneger and AIM share similar qualities and attributes. You log in with your email (however G-Mail doesn't work with MSN Messneger).
When someone asks for your MSN it usually means they're asking you for your email since it's your email that's used to log into the msn client.
Yes, there is the option to make/edit/change/modify a screenname. You can even download MSN PLUS with extra features to enhance your MSN experience.
Basics are:
- screenname
- optional personal message
- able to display what music you're listening to
- and just a whole lot of little different features

normally your hotmail email address is the same as your screen name.
so your login and screen name are (example)
bob4234@hotmail.com
