my hard drive has limited capacity?

no matter what i've tried my 120 gig seagate hard drive is limited to 32gigs the jumpers on the back of the drive are set for master not the drive limit option and it don't even show any unpartitiond space in windows or with seagates programs is there any way to fix this or any way to reset hard drive to factory settings?

    The jumpers on the back are for setting master, slave, and cable select. The drive could have crash and there is only 32 Gb left that is usable. Or controller on the back of drive has gone south. The best solution is to replace the drive. You could do low level format but you need third party software or some cases the Seagate CD disk for your drive.

    As far as I know, FAT32 volumes are limited to 32 GB. Do make sure your jumper settings are correct, however. One would not want to lose all of one's data due to simple oversight.

    lol wtf, a hard drive can only have as much as its made for, if its a 120gb drive it will always have 120 drive
