Find an equation of combined variation. Then solve for the missing value.
b varies directly as c and inversely as d.
One set of values is b = 5.75, c = 2.3, and d = 0.3.
Find b when c = 0.5 and d = 0.15.
Find an equation of combined variation. Then solve for the missing value.
a varies directly as b and inversely as c.
One set of values is a = 14, b = 14, and c = 6.
Find a when b = 4 and c = 8.
Find an equation of combined variation. Then solve for the missing value.
p varies directly as q and inversely as r.
One set of values is p = 5, q = 1, and r = 2.
Find p when q = 10 and r = 50.
Find an equation of joint variation. Then solve for the missing value.
f varies jointly as g, h, and j.
One set of values is f = 18, g = 4, h = 3, and j = 5.
Find f when g = 5, h = 12, and j = 3.

Here are 4 equations which can get you organized. The K will probably be different for each problem and while it's good to find the value of K, that isn't what they want in the end.
I. b = Kc(1/d)
II. a = Kb(1/c)
III. p = Kq(1/r)
IV. f = Kghj
example of how to finish: IV:
f = Kghj
18 = K(4)(3)(5), so K = 0.3
then
f = (0.3)(5)(12)(3) = 54
