Is there anything I need to know before I go to a salon to get my upper lip waxed?

nope! all they will do is just get you to lay down, and they'll wax it right off, nothing more to know.

you just go in, lay down,

they put on the creams you'll need prior to the wax,

and then they will wax it,

then they will put on an after cream,

and your upper lip might turn a little red,

but it will fade away after about ten/15 minutes.

and that's all!

it does hurt a little bit, but it's basically just like getting your eyebrows done.

For some people, it turns red and stings. For others you can feel some pain but not alot, and there is no discoloration in your skin. If you ever got your eyebrows waxed, you can get a pretty good idea of what it feels like, and what to expect.

Its not so bad...maybe take a little vasaline with you to put on afterward to soothe the skin that has been waxed.
