I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop that I purchased in August '10 & I'm fed up with the issues I've had with it, so where would I go & how much would I get for it?

The battery's fine, the only problem with it is that it won't charge the battery, even when plugged in. It'll shut down after a second of it becoming unplugged.

So, would this be actually worth selling for parts, or should I do something else with it?

So last August (2010) I purchased a Dell Inspiron laptop & last week the power cord stopped working. I got a new one from Amazon & it came yesterday & totally worked fine, charged my laptop without a problem. Today’s the second day I’ve used it & now the battery icon on my computer shows that I have “6% of battery left, plugged in, not charging.” I don’t understand why it won’t charge after I’ve unplugged it & then plugged it back in, both the wall & into the computer & I've also taken out the battery & put it back in.

Is it the cord, or the laptop that’s being buggy? How can I fix this?

Since Facebook changed, I keep getting notifications when I log in that someone has poked me. I know how to delete the email notifications, but how do I delete notifications about being poked? I can obviously see that somebody poked me!
