Vista Computer: Why is it freezing?
I have a one year old Vista computer. Recently, it would start to freeze randomly. I would have to shut it down by holding the power button. Also, everytime my computer turns on, it says I need to have a disk check. I let it disk check three times yesterday, but it repaired nothing. How do I fix this? I have a Dell Inspiron 1525.

try a full virus scan/ registry scan, more than likely it is an error or maybe an overheating issue due to an error... just see if it helps. uniblue power suite 2010 may help if you get it and check your temps with
cpu z and report back to be if they seem high to you

you have some broken records or a deadly disease from Youtube. Do you have OS set up disk? or understand the place you will get hold of a disk. A sixty 4 disk won't restore a 32 bit gadget. place the DVD disk on your DVDpersistent and boot from thispersistent, you could could desire to press F11 or F12 to make certain determination as properly from DVDpersistent. The Vista disk will initiate-up like widely used set up, click on first next, once you notice the set up demonstrate screen end. look down in decrease left factor and you will restore -- see the user-friendly restore to start records does in high-quality condition the priority. If not, then repeat and attempt equipment restore back couple days. the approach will take it sluggish and sounds like the equipment has end working, yet wait. when you restore your equipment, first factor examine for a trojan or virus. To me this prefer take place once you get undesirable malicious program.

Sound like may be a faulty hard drive coming up. or you are infected, the scandisk ran because you forced a shutdown without closing Windows in which you didnt have a choice, but this freezing could be from a lot of other factors.

Try re-setting your computer to factory settings. It should be as fast as it was when you first bought it. Remember to back your stuff up though.
