How do I fix my carpet?

I purchased a faux silk carpet and I spilled water on it. I used a hair dryer on low heat to dry the spot. It is dry and the carpet appears to be bunched. I don't want to rub it hard and risk doing more damage. How do I get the carpet to be a soft and plush as the rest of the carpet. Thank you.

    get a towel and blot the spot. once it dries run your fingers through it till it softens a little but be careful and make sure it doesn't hurt anything else. It's just water should be ok.
