Can somebody give me tips on how to organize my life, and become a productive person?

I am a huge procrastinator and time waster. I eat a lot of junk food, and I spend a lot of time watching useless television shows and going on facebook. I am extremely lazy, and currently my life is pathetic. I procrastinate to the point of having to call off work and stay up late nights, ending up sleep deprived.

I am actively trying to completely turn my life, and I hope somebody will be willing to give me word of inspiration on how to bring my desire to make my life fulfilling into context. If somebody could tell me how to productively spend my free time (what books to read, what educational movies to watch), and maybe construct a mini-plan for me to stick to since I am such a weak person, I can't quite wrap my head around how exactly to start, as I already feel so overwhelmed with time wasted that I have the rush to do everything at once to catch up on wasted hours, and then I drown in anxiety and give up. If a kind person could give me a short plan on how to do it step by step, or just general tips on how to make my time more fulfilling and gratifying will be genuinely appreciated.

About me: in college, work part time at a law office, 19 years old. I am not a complete failure as I am pursuing my degree and working, but I still am not expanding my horizons much. I want to become a well-rounded, productive person.

If somebody is going to judge me and and criticize me, please save that to yourself, as I have already criticized myself, and am aware of my faults, and I simply hope for some encouragement as I don't have any siblings, nor do I have friends that aren't always busy to support me. I am really trying here.

You seem to be making some headway but probably feel that it is either taking too long to achieve your goals, or the work itself doesn't interest you as much as once did.

I'd suggest you take up an outside interest, like tennis, or netball, or squash. Something where you can express your pent up energies. Though you say you are lazy, I think it's more about not being able to release pent up frustrations. Also, go dancing, ballroom is good for meeting people. Go join a social club that also has outings to places of interest, parties, weekends away like camping.

A well-rounded and productive person has interests in the people they work with, the work itself, outside interests, and a family or a small network of friends. This type of person also has an interest in local charitable work, writes poetry or stories, and is seen in the best restaurants and night clubs with a friend or friends.

You need to change your eating habits as your current diet is making you sluggish, causing you to be depressed and lazy, and possibly affecting the way you think about things. Fast foods are okay but only as a treat once a week. Avoid alcohol when not dining with friends, don't sleep odd hours, and eat a good diet regularly with no in-between snacking.

Go join the local gym, get an exercise routine sheet from an instructor, start on low reps and weights, and work your way into better health. Take it slow and easy, don't rush it, and you will find within a few weeks that your energy will be revitalised, your lifestyle is expanding, your network of friends is improving and your excitement for life more exuberant.

could you be depressed? Maybe talk with your doctor and see. Some of this sounds like depression to me. Your age is a very challenging time in your life, ie a lot of decisions to make etc. Life gets much easier in your 20's than it is now imo. I love the book Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by

Stephen Covey. I usually dig it out for review if I need some encouragement. btw you are NOT a weak person! NO one goes to college and works part time in a law office ( no pressure there) and is a weak person! Seriously, be kind to yourself. You are the best friend you will ever have.

I don't think you are lazy. Procrastination, eating, lack of motivation, anxiety over lost time....All these are symptoms of depression. You're college probably has a service for students or if you have insurance look and find a psychologist. They specialize in counseling and helping you determine a life worth living.

I have major depression and if you don't get help now, you'll have more symptoms. Chronic pain, sleeplessness or sleeping too much are just some of the things that could happen.

God, you sound soooo sexy right now. I think you can wallow in your own turds for a good couple of months until you can no longer peel your jockey shorts off of your crusty bunghole. You really don't ever need to leave the house, you could just stay wrapped up in your fecal cocoon forever if that's what really gets ya your jollies.

You just sound overwhelmed. You are doing a lot, so this shows me that you are not lazy or a weak person. Spend some time learning time management in order to take control. Here is a good place to start: http://www.learn2organize.com/category/time-manage...

You may want to consider joining up with the Taliban. They operate a Women's only section, where you would be organised and encouraged to perform various worth while activities. You will begin by learning how to wear the bhurka and wrapping yourself up from preying eyes. So your privacy is guaranteed, then move on to milking goats, lighting fires and cooking on stone ovens. This is a sure fire cure for laziness and you will be rewarded with seven hunks and as much dates as you like. (excuse me, the dates are fruits, not outings,)

To help yourself, have hope and pray about your life. Tell God about it. God is love. Know that God can help you live a better life. You can have a personal relationship with God by saying the prayer below. God is our Creator, all-knowing, all-powerful, eternal, holy, love. God loves us and sent us His Son, Jesus Christ, so we can go to heaven if we know and follow Him. Forever means without end -- time on and on without death. Forever is what happens after we die. Either we go to heaven and be with God forever, or we go to hell which is very bad and painful forever. The good people who are saved believers in Jesus Christ go to heaven. The bad people go to hell. We need to know and follow God in this world to get to heaven in the next world. We follow God by loving and obeying Him and loving others for Him. Jesus Christ, God's Son, is our bridge to God. Jesus died on the cross to cancel our sins. We need to accept Jesus into our life as our Lord and Savior forever to receive God's blessing and forgiveness plus go to heaven to be with God forever after we die. This is about being a born-again Christian. Faith in God is a gift from God. You can pray for faith in God. Just speak out and ask God for the faith to believe in Him and to follow Him. Some people find faith in God when they realize the beauty in the world is made by God. Evolution can't explain the world's natural beauty, for example, the parks in the world, animals, flowers, peacocks, sunsets, butterflies, rainbows, etc. After you have your faith on, you can pray a sinner's prayer to be a born-again Christian. This prayer is very important and should be said with a sincere heart and faith in God. This is the prayer: "Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and that Jesus Christ is the sacrifice for our sins. I have done the following sins (state these out) and I pray to discontinue these sins. I pray to receive Jesus Christ into my life as my Lord and Savior forever. In Jesus' name, amen." I'm Lutheran and I like the Baptist churches too. You could check out a Christian church and see about their weekly Bible study group to learn about God's will for your life. You can pray to God about your daily life and have a Christian church pray for you.
