I cant uninstall printer in add and remove programmes?
Im trying to install printer mpc190 it says i cant because I already have a newer version. ?? I went to add and remove programmes and found canon multipass 40.30a. i tried to uninstall and it didnt work? for a hour it kept saying it way trying to unistall it so i give up. how can i install my printer pleae help....
thanks...Ive deleted it from control panel printers in control panel but still wont let me install it

Is a printer a program? NO Go to devices & printers in the control panel and uninstall it from there.

pass into administration panel and click printers make valuable the printer you like to print from is the default printer it could have a verify next to it . If no longer appropriate clicking on it and click make default. it would artwork now all you're doing whilst uninstalling is the printing courses no longer the drivers, pass away the drivers on my own it does no injury

It is really hard to try install software when you already have a newer version on your computer
You may want to send Canon Support an email with your problem

Even if you deleted it from the contol panel, you need to go in the REGISTRY and delete all instances of "mpc190. Then you will be able to install it. Otherwsie you can contact Canon and specifically ask for their "Un-installer" which I believe is ver 10.
