Why does my husband still received emails from porn site in his spam folder after an endless effort to block?
My husband and I have been blocking, deleting, etc, all this emails/spam from porn sites since we moved together. We have lived together for 6 year now. When I first moved with him, I told him I don't like porn, I can understand what hi did previous to me..but I particular don't care for..so he assure me he will never look at it again (that there was not need for it).So I trusted, left it behind, case closed. We sent to spam folder and block all of those site in the incoming emails, team effort, since we have a child, we need it to be very careful. So now 6 year and still coming, why is he still receiving them? if hi isn't looking anymore, like he said. We do not keep our emails secret, since we have nothing to hide, So I do not check his, have no need thought. But recently I logged onto, need to look for specific information, and they there were, in the spam folder. So I thought confronting/ask him? is this mean that he had lie and some-how still visit this porn sites. I want to believe him, it’s just hard. What should I do?

Operative words you found them "in the spam folder". If he was hiding them, they would have been deleted. Do not worry about this too much. Some web sites sell or trade e-mail information and it could take forever to get rid of some of that crap.
I logged onto a photography web site to see a friend's wedding photos, two years ago. After viewing the photos, I got relentless "last chance" e-mails to order photos. I unsubscribed to the e-mails on several occasions and finally they stopped......until last week when they began again. These are photos of a wedding. So, you can imagine that the porn sights are hard up for business. No pun intended!!

My husband made the mistake of putting my email in for a porn site, I don't care if he looks at porn but I was very mad when I found out he used my email because I haven't stopped receiving the emails ever since then and it was awhile ago like 3 years. I still get like 3 of them a day even though I spam them all, He will never live it down too. He can look up porn without an email you know.

I don't think it's a big deal but if he wants to he would stop trashing the spam that would help. because by deleting the spam then you can start receiving more spam so yeah. And no he is not entering the porn site again its just that the site has automatic email send so he is receiving emails all the time. Hey or you can tell him to open a new email account and forget about the old one.

If you are one of the people who has answered that he had to sign up, YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. Did you 'sign up' for all the junk mail that comes through your letterbox? Didn't think so... Email lists are sold on a daily basis. Legitimate sites are mined for email addesses. If someone who had your husband's email address got a virus, ALL of their contacts could end up being sold on. If you are one of the people who said he would have to sign up for it. you are irresponsible beyond belief. Stop commenting on things you have no idea about. It is the worst kind of gossip-mongering. If you can't keep quiet when you don't know the facts then give your computer away and never go near the internet again.

Most people delete the contents of their spam folder without looking at it. That is WHY it's there, so you don't have to bother. The porn spammers are relentless, you don't even have to have visited a porn site to get some of them in your email. Just delete.

You don't know that he is visiting porn sites. Once spam like that starts, it can be very hard to stop, especially with the way they can use fake addresses to spoof spam blockers. I get spam where the address has been faked to make it seem as though it was sent from my box to myself. If none of these spam messages have been opened, I don't think you have anything to worry about.

BULK SPAM E-MAIL. I'm sure you've heard of it. If not then you must be new to the internet. E-mail addresses are bought and sold from spam company to spam company. You both will ALWAYS get advertisements for various things. Porn being one of them.

That's how the internet works.
They constantly harvest email addresses and spam crap out for forever.
I get tampon samples in the mail, does that mean I'm contemplating a sex-change and my wife needs to harp on my *** like I'm a suppressed transsexual just waiting for her to loosen her grip on my leash for but a moment so my fairy side can explode in all it's flaming glory?
Your husband needs a new wife.
The million dollar question is will it be you or someone else?

Seriously, I'm shocked if YOU don't get them. I get so many penis enlargement and Canadian drug and porn and gobs and gobs of other junk email that have nothing to do with my browsing history. We even get that stuff at work, and nobody at works is stupid enough to look at porn there.
