What is the Feng Shui solution to a beam over a bed?
Constructing a house. The support beams are still exposed. The house owner was concerned of the exposed beams which was along his proposed bed area. Moving the bed or removing the beam is not an option. Since the beam will be covered with a flat ceiling and hidden from view, would this be a sufficient solution to this Feng Shui problem? Thanks

It is said that a beam over the bed indicates that something will come between the couple who sleep under it.
I would personally think since you cannot move the bed nor the beam- that to cover it will be a nice choice with "smooth" sailing thereafter.

if the ceiling where the beam is high enough like more than 3 meters away from the floor, then it wont matter. if the beams are closer than 3 meters, you can opt for a bed with a canopy - the cloth that drapes over the bed can shield you from the beam.
