My clients house is still under construction. Few days ago my client found out that a beam is crossing over his bed. He wants the beam removed which is not possible since it is part of the structural element. Moving the bed is also not possible because of the restricted space. The beam is not part of the design since the ceiling is still not finished. In fact the beam would be covered by a flat ceiling thus solving the feng shui problem. Despite solutions offered to him based on feng shui (cloth above bed, paint beam white and etc..) he still believes the beam would affect him later on. Are there websites that specifically deals with this problem so I can resolve this issue once and for all? Thanks

Constructing a house. The support beams are still exposed. The house owner was concerned of the exposed beams which was along his proposed bed area. Moving the bed or removing the beam is not an option. Since the beam will be covered with a flat ceiling and hidden from view, would this be a sufficient solution to this Feng Shui problem? Thanks

Obama accuses old style politics in Washington DC but these politicians includes both Republicans and Democrats alike. In fact, these politicians whom he criticizes are the ones who would decide whether he can run as president for his party. He keeps on shouting about change yet he is involved within the same system that he criticizes. It makes me wonder if he is really for genuine change. If he is really for CHANGE, why not go against the entire system and be an INDEPENDENT? He should raise his own money and establish a new party to rival both Democrats and Republicans.

I take photos as it is. What you see is what you get. I never edit the colors or anything except for the photo size and placement of watermarks. If I am not satisfied with a photo, I retake it. Besides my knowledge of Photoshop is quite limited. Comments?

I read for the past weeks that Sony DSC-H9 has problems with image quality because of too much image compression. For an 8 megapixel camera, its photo file size is around 2 mb. It has no feature or setting to adjust this file compression. I have been using the camera for a few months now and it is starting to disappoint me. The photos are not as sharp as I expected. Though I heard it takes good macro photography but I am more of portrait, fashion and architecture photography. Any comments or suggestions? Thanks!

the local fashion show will be held inside the mall and probably there would be enough lighting. I don't think they would be crazy enough to turn off the mall lights since it will be held in the general mall area. So any suggests what camera settings to use? I am currently using a Sony DSC-H9. Can I use the Portrait mode or manually set my camera? Aperture or Shutter mode instead? What settings are usually used in this type of conditions or events (ISO, aperture, shutter speed, white balance, metering). The last time I photographed a local fashion show, it was a disaster (used the same camera). Photos were a bit blurry and color were dull. Any suggestions? Comments? Thanks in advance!
