Would you rather work by yourself or in collaboration with others? Which answer would be more appropiate?

It all depends in the team you are working on. Both are good at times. If you are working as a team then would preferably you should not be thinking of working alone, and if you are working in a product or segment where your team do not know you need to work alone.
I have worked alone in a product for three years, the exposure and ideas will be lesser than the # when you work collaboratively.
