1992 Eagle Talon ecm or tcu pin out problems?

(2.0L DOHC 16V turbo awd automatic trans)

I have a 1992 Talon tsi awd with a computer problem - at least if I can find the correct pin out, I suspect that's what it is.

The computer located under the radio has 3 plugs (10 pin / 18 pin / 14 pin)

Every pin out I've found both on the net in in my own resources shows the last connector with 24 pins - not the 14 pins in this beast.

Also, does this vehicle have a separate transmission control module? I've found several listings for a TCU along with an ECU - but no other information.

Thanks.

Update:

My concern isn't the pins being in the wrong place, my concern is to test some of the wiring from the sensor or component to the computer. I'm getting fault codes for two sensors that check perfectly fine at the sensors.

LeAnne, Have you already pulled the covers on the ECM to check it for burnt circuit boards from the capacitors leaking? You need a Mutt II Mitsubishi scanner to check the codes and read the data lists.

If it's a shifting problem and the vehicle is in fail safe, it could be an input or output speed sensor on the tranny. I only recall the 420a motor having a separate TCM.

Unless someone put the incorrect ecm in, I doubt it's a pin out problem. If the car worked properly from the factory, then I doubt the pins have moved since then, unless someone pulled the pins out.
