Because civilized societies don't do to them what they do to us. FYI, there is nothing like "radical" islam, as islam is radical.

The following is what they have done in 2 months:

Date: 2010.03.17. Country: Nigeria. City: Dyie. Victims: Thirteen more Christian villagers are massacred by Muslim raiders in an overnight attack, including a mother and two children burned to death. Victims also had their tongues cut out.

Date: 2010.02.26.Country: Liberia. City: Voinjama. Victims: At least four Christians are killed as a Muslim mob burns churches.

A small preview of what they have done in recent years:

September 11, 2001 - Terrorists hijack four U.S. commercial airliners taking off from various locations in the United States in a coordinated suicide attack. In separate attacks, two of the airliners crash into the twin towers of the World Trade Centre in New York City, which catch fire and eventually collapse. A third airliner crashes into the Pentagon in Washington, DC, causing extensive damage. The fourth airliner, also believed to be heading towards Washington, DC, crashes outside Shanksville, PA., killing all 45 people on board. Casualty estimates from New York put the possible death toll close to 5,000, while as many as 200 people may have been lost at the Pentagon crash site.

The trial, conducted in the Netherlands under Scottish law, begins in May 2000 and ends in February 2001. Abdelbaset Al Mohmed al-Megrahi is convicted and receives a life sentence. I have not just made statements like the taqiyya muslims have done but have given proofs. (Taqiyya is lying and muslims are allowed to lie. So they make full use of it.)

I cannot give a list of all the crimes that they have done even in this year due to space restraints. All that I can tell you is, that the list would be a big as encyclopedias in n number of volumes as right from the inception of islam, muslims have been killing millions upon millions of lives right from the inception of islam.

The group was based overseas. If they were American they could be prosecuted for making threats, but since they are not, there isn't too much that can be done at the moment. These people are first and foremost seeking attention, as the episode said nothing offensive what so ever about the Islamic faith, or about Muhammad,

(since he wasn't in the bear suit in the first place)

And to me me me, if what you say is true, then look at all the corruption in the Christian church. Look at all the wars, and violence Christianity has brought to the world. Look at how every type of Christian sect has had it's own type of scandal. Yes, indeed you will know them by their fruits, and there are a lot of rotten fruits in all religions.

I agree death threats are completely "un-Islamic". I do believe this is a very serious issue. I believe the extremist and the anti-Islam will continue to fan the flames of hate, until it finally combust into global chaos. What started as child's play, is rapidly escalating to a line in the sand, with both side saying "C'mon I dare you to cross it........."Zapiro said his cartoon was not meant to offend Islam, though he wanted it to be "challenging". In reaction to his challenge, some idiots' say " We will kill you for what you have done". What else could we call this? The general public needs to wake up and realize we are only being used as game pieces in the "media monopoly game". "Stir some scandal" so the public can spend some more money on news and products from internet commercials. It is all a gimmick to the ones making the money.. But to the ignorant and intolerant ,it is a very serious issue. We should all wake up and take warning to what's going on around us before it seriouysly gets out of hand.

the law in this country is very clear that speech is protected unless u can show an imminent danger of action following from it. so cross-burning is illegal because there is a long record of violence immediately following it. but unless and until there is a string of actual bombings or other attacks by muslim fanatics following such statements as these, our laws will presume that it's just talk and let them continue. whether this is wise or not is up for debate, but that IS the legal tradition here, and to date we have had less, not more, political violence than other countries, which have more restrictive laws.

Are you distressed about crimes committed in the name of religion?

Do the warfare, terrorism, and corruption perpetrated by those who claim to serve God offend your sense of justice? Why does religion seem to be at the root of so many problems?

The fault lies, not with all religion, but with false religion. A widely respected religious figure, Jesus Christ, indicated that false religion produces bad works, just as a “rotten tree produces worthless fruit.” (Matthew 7:15-17) What fruit does false religion yield?

    False Religion . . .

MEDDLES IN WAR AND POLITICS: “Across Asia and beyond,” says the journal Asiaweek, “power-hungry leaders are cynically manipulating people’s religious sentiments for their own needs.” As a result, the journal warns: “The world threatens to sink into madness.” A prominent religious leader in the United States declared: “You’ve got to kill the terrorists before the killing stops.” His solution? “Blow them all away in the name of the Lord.” By contrast, the Bible says: “If anyone makes the statement: ‘I love God,’ and yet is hating his brother, he is a liar.” (1 John 4:20) Jesus even said: “Continue to love your enemies.” (Matthew 5:44) How many religions can you think of whose members engage in war?
