Are the raiders planning on switching to a 3-4?

They acquired Kamerion Wimbley this offseason and now they've drafted another MLB.

Wimbley-McClain-Morrison-Howard as the linebackers.

And Seymour and Kelley on the line. Could be pretty effective.

Thats what its looking like. At first I was a little skeptical of the McClain pick (though I love him as a prospect) because it was high for a middle linebacker and he'd be far better off in a 3-4, but it looks like they're switching to a 3-4. If they manage to pick up Terrence Cody they would be in very good shape as far as their transition to a 3-4 front.

In theory it could work, but no Im a huge raider fan and havn't heard this from them. Morrison makes plenty of tackles, but is not much help in coming up and stopping the run, and thats why they drafted McClain, so they could help sure up that awful run d

Expect Howard or Morrison to be traded, they have been on the block.

No what Al Davis is doing is making the Raiders the best Madden team he can by drafting purely based on speed. (he just assumed Russel was fast cause he was black)

sounds good to me. Raiders could be pretty decent this year...although they need a QB...
